Mostly there are only snacks. Too little choice for a restaurant. Big sign with pizza in front of the door. If you ask for one, it doesn't have any. That will not do
We were allowed to visit the brewery inn on Saturday and loved it. The hygiene concept worked very well. The real treasure is Iris, who gave us a perfect day. Greetings to Iris and Andreas
Great beer and nice, cozy location. As our last stop of our beer hike, we enjoyed the evening with some nice drinks and some snacks. For some reason, the restaurant was quite empty after a while of staying there and there was no noise level at all. The fries I ate had a great taste and have been crispy as well. Thanks to their participation of the beer hike, we have been able to collect a certificate from there. The staff has been nice and friendly and the overall experience was worth it as well.
The landlady took some getting used to. You really have to understand the humor. The inn itself no longer shines completely in new splendor. It belongs to one of the 4 brewery inns on the legendary brewery hiking trail in Aufseß. Not very nice from the ambience but enough to have a drink. There was only one type of beer from the tap, but it was ok.

The address of the waitress made it clear that guests are not really welcome here. When we decided not to eat anything and just have a quick beer, the waitress said it was better that way.
Very boyish service, recommended as a hiking stage, but the service does not invite you to linger!
While hiking the brewery path we stopped at the brewery restaurant Stadter. The beer garden offers cozy spots that invite you to linger. The ordered beer was quickly brought to the table by the friendly waitress. We particularly enjoyed the nice conversation with the host, who was able to tell us some interesting information. If we're in the area again, we're guaranteed to come back.
Never felt so uncomfortable in a pub. Very unsympathetic, pushy hosts. We were given a monologue on the fact that all beer that is not made in wood-fired kettles is of synthetic origin. Apparently there are people who believe it exactly the same way and give ratings with "excellent expertise" because quite a few paragraphs have been prayed down. I am a brewer myself and have studied brewing, but have seldom heard so much nonsense about Bavarian beer as here. And when you are traveling in such a region, you should be able to expect that not only fairy tales will be told to you. So much for that .. A cat was constantly out and about in the inn and was petted and fed by the landlady. The landlady complains that hikers always bring the cat with them and they don't want it here. Then why feed and stroke? And then food is brought to the table without washing hands. The beer is good, but cosiness is something else.
Great beer! Strict interpretation of the hygiene rules. We would like to come again
Cozy restaurant located on the beer hiking trail. Service and food very good. Corona rules implemented very well.
Good beer but a waitress who thinks she would be funny if she addresses the guests in a funny way from the side. A matter of taste and maybe also local flavor. What is not possible, however, is to speak badly about guests who have just left or roll their eyes. A real shame. Took our visit completely away from the cosiness that one would like to have during a hiking break.
Excellent beer and the roast venison was also the finest. Very nice hosts (also means Labradoodle Dori). It may well be that I'll stop by a Seidla again when I'm in the area. 👍
Very nice tenants and service! Gladly provides detailed information about the brewery. Delicious snack, nicely presented. We recommend!
Unfriendly, stressed by Covid19 madness and the like. let the guest feel that 1 to 1 u. communicated verbally. Goes so far that guests leave the restaurant because the tone of the service u. their regulations with place assignments go to the S ****. If you don't feel like working and Restaurant, then just leave it u. closes the shop. Beer was good u. Tastes good if you get one because of the sheer discipline, etc. Eat very simple, snack or deep fryer menus. Sorry, that's the way it is. Hospitality is something else.
Located on the Aufseß brewery trail. So it's good! Beer is very tasty and beer is very tasty. :-)
Restaurant with little charm. But the food is delicious.
Nice rustic brewery on the Aufseßer Bierwanderweg. Falls off a bit to Reichold and Kathi-Bräu, but all in all very cozy. Service was friendly.
Very nice tenants. He likes to report on the region and the classic brewing process. He has excellent expertise! The dining room is as it should be, small and cozy. All dishes are freshly prepared. Pleasant price level. Gladly again, if only because of the nice hosts!
Unfortunately the inn on the brewery path with the worst service by far. One staff member sits down despite the full outdoor area, drinks beer and smokes and leaves the colleague to work alone to mob guests in parallel. Unfortunately, we lacked a lot of decency and the minimum level of courtesy. Very disappointing.
We found the last stage of our brewery path hike here. In contrast to the last visit, the service was friendlier this time. Last year I didn't have the words. Drinks prices ok. We didn't eat anything here. The kitchen was already closed. Unfortunately only open until 8pm.
The Landbier and the unpronounceable schnaps are an absolute must. I loved every minute of the hike through Aufseß.
First stop on the Aufsesser beer trail, started with a meal and beer #1, definitely homebrew, taste the freshness....visit the chapel in Aufsess proper and swear to me that isn't a bust of Mark Twain, which it isn't but that shouldn't stop you from getting the first impression that it is, go von und zu the two castles. There's an Aufsesser Platz in Nuernberg, but the beer is better here. You'll appreciate the Aufsesser legacy when you visit the Germanisches National Museum. Had dinner at the fourth brewery/restaurant, hope they passed the health inspection.
Top! We were here as part of the brewery hike. We were served friendly and quickly. The country beer was very tasty and easy to drink. For the beginning there was only a lard bread, which was also very tasty.
Stopped here for a quick beer one day with my wife, who was driving. Though not as well known as the other breweries on the Aufseß Beery Hiking Circuit, it's probably the best. Stopped back on my 100 mile 4 day hike and decided to have a Schnitzel while there. It took awhile to get it, but it was truly homemade, obviously freshly breaded and fried and looked more like something your mother would make than from a restaurant. It went well with the beer and it was great sitting out in the sun with lots of other hikes. Great spot.
